Check out my SharePoint 2013 public site branding session from SPC14 3

In March of this year I had the great fortune to be selected to present at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference in Vegas (SPC14). It was a blast, even though we didn’t leave the Venetian hotels for the entirety of the trip. If you didn’t get to make it out to the conference you can still see my session. Microsoft records all our sessions and posts them on Channel 9. Here are the links to the video of our session as well as a link to all our previous Microsoft sessions:

The session focused on how you can easily create public facing websites with SharePoint both on premises and in the cloud. We have a couple demos, including SharePoint 2013 Composed Looks and the Design Manager. Our big demo shows off the following responsive web design (RWD) which would work in Office 365 SharePoint Online or farm based SharePoint:

You can check out the finished design for as long as Microsoft continues to host it for us on Office 365:

This web part, SharePoint Frontier’s Feature Manager fills this gap by providing options to view the features that are activated in site and site collection level and also provides an option to activate or deactivate features.

    Hi Randy

Thanks for the video. I am in the process of branding our SharePoint 2013 Intranet site which uses a publishing template and was wondering if I could have the homepage have the look of an Internet site with links to various other sub sites and libraries. The homepages for these sub sites will also be branded but will look more like SharePoint.

So I guess I’m looking for the Internet look for the homepage but the SharePoint look (with some branding from the homepage) for sub sites.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you
