Its rare that I would use this blog as a place to complain about something, but the utter failure that is TeleFlora has brought me to post this in hopes that it will save someone else to pain of choosing this company to provide flowers for their special occasion. I chose them because they use local florists to deliver their flowers (unlike the other companies that FedEx flowers from around the world).
After ordering my wife's Valentine's day flowers from them for over $50 they not only failed to deliver (or contact any of us) on Friday at her work. But when I called to complain they rescheduled it for 10am Saturday. Its now 4pm and I just called to get a refund.
I mean if your only business model is to deliver flowers to people on a special day and charge extra for this convenience you'd think you would be able to execute on this one task or at least call to say there was a problem.
Worst company in the history of flower delivery. Never use them. Ultimate FAIL.

I feel your pain, I had the same problem with TeleFlora last year. I scheduled a delivery for 2/14, and they finally arrived on 2/18. It was awful, and I've told just about everyone I know this year to now use them. I used 1-800-Flowers this year, and they were amazing. The flowers were ordered and delivered on the same day, it was great.
On a sidenote, I really enjoy the blog. Keep up the good work!

Oh! sorry to hear that, I also hate late deliveries, that's why before I make an ordered online I make a background check on its website. Just to make sure that their services are geniune and trustworthy.

I had a terrible experience with Teleflora I ordered a $140 premium arrangement for a funeral and when I got to the service it was dead and sparse looking. I was mortified. Dont ever use them they do not deliver what they promise in their picture and they do not stand behing their product.

Thats such a shame. Normally teleflora is very trustworthy. As a web developer for an online florist , I can tell you that a lot of the time the problems aren't with the the major companies, they're with the small florist. The reality of online flower deliveries is that we pass the majority of our orders down to smaller florists and the quality of the flowers ends up in their hands.
